Ingredients

  • 200 Chicken breast cut into small pieces
  • 150 Frozen french fries
  • 100 Frozen corn kernels
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • Salt very little (optional)

Method

  1. Step 1: Prep the chicken: Cut the chicken breast into 2–3 cm pieces and pat dry. Small pieces suit a kid's one bite and cook fast, so no scary raw-center-inside-cooked-outside, safe and easy to chew.
  2. Step 2: Toss with oil: Toss the chicken and corn with olive oil; if the fries already carry oil, skip them. A thin oil helps browning and adds a little aroma the kids accept more easily, without dryness.
  3. Step 3: Arrange by zone: Put the fries on one side of the basket and the chicken and corn on the other, with no stacking. Zoning lets each cook evenly and keeps its own texture, no flavor mixing or soggy spots.
  4. Step 4: Air fry: Air fry at 190°C (375°F) for 12–14 minutes, pulling the basket out at minute 7 to shake once. Pull them when the fries are golden and the chicken is cooked through — do not overbake or it turns hard and the kids will not chew it.
  5. Step 5: Plate and serve: Scoop into a cute small plate with ketchup or yogurt sauce. Let it cool to not-hot before giving it to the kids — safe, happy, and let them dip themselves.
